Memorial Day Address

On this Memorial Day weekend the American people will celebrate this day by taking the work day off to spend time with family and friends, go out of town just to get away for a little bit, and lastly just to have a barbeques to officially welcome the summer.

On this Memorial Day let’s do something even more. Because on this day let’s remember our fallen heroes who gave their lives in order to bring freedom to women and little girls in Afghanistan and took down the Taliban and send the rest running, which help brought democracy to that nation. Not only did they give their lives in Afghanistan they also sacrifice their lives in Iraq to take down an evil dictator who was a threat to the United States and the rest of the world.

Most of all they gave up their lives so we Americans can maintain and continue to enjoy our freedoms to do what we want. Lastly they did it so their loves ones and fellow Americans can live in a safe and secure land.

Finally, on this day let’s show tribute to those fallen heroes by doing the following things. Rising old glory to show our respect, visit military families and military hospitals that lost a love one or a fellow comrade and a friend. If you do visit these places tell them that we are gratefully for what they did by keeping us safe around the world and their memory’s and their service will not be forgotten. Most of all lets never forget what they did by fighting for our freedom and keeping us safe.
